Escarpolette (Chalets de la Chamoissière)

We are so excited to be looking after this fabulous new apartment on the spa residence Chalets de la Chamoissière. You get space, lots of it. Two roomy double bedrooms, one of which has an ensuite bathroom, and a bunk bed room too. Skiers and boarders, hikers and mountain-bikers will love the outdoor heated pool and spa and the best bit is the proximity to the lifts – just 200 metres!

Enter the apartment on the first floor of the residence (there’s a lift too which will help with the shopping or for wheelchair access). You’re presented with the open plan living space, with underfloor heating and a fireplace for cosy autumn and winter evenings.

The lounge boasts comfy seating with coffee table, and the kitchen overlooks the dining area (table for eight) with an island that creates the perfect setting for après-ski drinks and nibbles.

From the lounge/dining area you have access to a large balcony giving views of the outdoor heated pool, down the valley towards the Rochebrune mountain, and of the south and north facing mountains (ski pistes to the right).

There are three bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge: the master double bedroom with balcony and ensuite bathroom (bath and WC), a second double bedroom and a bunk bed room (two singles). The apartment sleeps six people very comfortably.

There is a second bathroom near the entrance, with shower, heated floor, heated towel rail and wall-mounted hair dryer, and WC.

The property has a ski room and private locker, and a private parking space.

The private spa for residents includes an outdoor heated pool with indoor and outdoor sunloungers, relaxation room, hammam, sauna and private changing room.

Within 150 metres is an equipment hire shop (20% discount), slope-side restaurant, British-run ski school New Generation Ski School Serre Chevalier and lift-pass offices, plus safe areas for children to sledge, play and generally have heaps of fun!

Walk within 350 metres for all the village amenities; no less than eleven restaurants at last count, a brilliant butchers, patisseries, handy supermarket, newsagents, bars, equipment hire and sports shops, museums, alpine gift stores, …

We ask that you do not smoke in the apartment.

The outdoor heated pool is open every day 10:00 – 20:00 (summer) and 17:00 – 20:00 (winter). The sauna and hammam are open every day 17:00 – 20:00 when the pool is open. Please note that around mid-May until mid-June, and early December, the pool and spa are open weekends only. Annual closure is from early October to mid-December (please check the opening hours with us for these periods.)
