Booking Conditions relating to CV19, for bookings between 1 Dec 2020 – 30 Apr 2021
Wording extracted from our general booking contract for all self-catered apartments:
3. If you cancel or amend your booking
If you need to cancel or amend your booking you must advise us by telephone and email as soon as possible. A cancellation will not take effect until we receive written confirmation from you.
If you cancel your booking:
- within seven days of receiving our Booking Contract: we will refund any money you have paid us
- more than six weeks prior to the Arrival Date, we will retain the Deposit and refund the Balance paid to us
- less than six weeks prior to the Arrival Date, we reserve the right to retain the full Rental Amount. We will refund the Balance paid (less any additional costs incurred) if we are able to secure an alternative booking for the Property.
Specific circumstances relating to Covid-19 Government-declared, national “Crise-Sanitaire” :
If you cancel your booking due to a reason proven as directly relating to Government-declared restrictions e.g. confinement, travel restrictions to/from France or to/from a region in France, affecting all persons named on the contract:
- you may cancel your booking up to 21 days before your arrival date and we will refund the Balance paid
- the Deposit paid, less a 75€ administration fee, will be refunded to you only if we are able to secure an alternative booking for the Property with the same booking value and period
- any Deposit or Balance refund will only be due once proof of government restriction is provided to us.
4. If we cancel or amend your booking
We would not expect to have to make any changes to your booking, but sometimes problems occur and we do have to make alterations or, very occasionally cancel bookings.
If this does happen, we will contact you as soon as is reasonably practical and inform you of the cancellation or the change to your booking and, if it is necessary to cancel your booking, we will refund the balance of any money you have paid us.
Specific circumstances relating to Covid-19 Government-declared, national “Crise-Sanitaire” :
- In the event that the Property has to close due to Government-declared restrictions on rental property and the welcoming of new guests, you will be refunded in full and no administration fee charged.
5. Your arrival and departure
We look forward to welcoming you to your accommodation. You can arrive at your accommodation after 16:00* hours on the Arrival Date of your holiday and you must leave by 10:00* hours on the Departure Date (unless otherwise arranged with us).
Specific circumstances relating to Covid-19 Government-declared, national “Crise-Sanitaire” :
* In summer 2020, we left 24 hours between bookings to air the Property. This sufficiently provided reassurance to ourselves, cleaning staff and our guests. We do not foresee having to do the same for bookings between December 2020 and May 2021, but we reserve the right to dictate specific arrival and departure times should we feel this is necessary e.g. arrival after 18:00 hours and departure before 09:00 hours. We will always follow local, regional and national government guidelines relating to arrivals and departures.
