Where is the nearest train/bus station to Serre Chevalier?
Briançon is the main town at the lowest end of the Serre Chevalier valley. You can ski from here if you have local accommodation, or ski from Serre Chevalier’s three other sectors. Trains from Briançon journey south e.g. Gap, Marseille, and its bus station serves a network of French destinations as well as local resorts in Italy.

To get to Briançon bus/train station, you can travel:
* with the TGV via Paris to Oulx in Italy (and then by bus to Briançon/Serre Chevalier), or
* via Lyon-Grenoble (and then by direct bus to Serre Chevalier/Briançon) or
* via Vallence (from the south to Briançon/Serre Chevalier).

Can I get a bus from Grenoble to Serre Chevalier?
Yes and it’s a straightforward journey. Firstly, upon arrival at Grenoble airport, you will need to buy a ticket and get on the bus that goes from the airport to Grenoble city centre Gare Routière. This bus takes you directly to the bus station from where you get the direct bus to Serre Chevalier.
Once at Grenoble Gare Routière, you take the direct Serre Chevalier bus (LER35). Use their online booking system here to see the schedule and book.
